Job description
The Pursuit Group are currently working with a major food producer to find a new Transport Co-ordinator to join the team.
The transport co-ordinator will working on a 4on 4 off shift pattern, with an average 42 hours a week.
Reporting into the Transport front line manager, you will be responsible for safety, performance and compliance of the transport team. This will entail the safe delivery and collection of all produce.
Key accountabilities of the role:
- Safe and accurate working relationship with the driver team.
- Work alongside agency drivers, collecting timesheets and authorising payroll.
- Coordinate and schedule transportation services for clients, alongside the FLM.
- Monitor transportation routes and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance
