Away Resorts are a leading UK holiday park operator, with over 20 parks across the country, and they looking for 'Holiday Heroes' to ensure their guests are having the best holiday ever!!!

Candidates will need to live locally to the resort and be willing to 'commute'.
Job Description =
- Ensure all performances and activities meet the agreed standards and actively work to exceed the expectations of guests.
- Actively participate in assigned activities, events, training, meetings and performances.
- Be a reliable source of communication and information for our guests.
- Engage with product and team at the point of delivery forming good department relationships, as well as guests, owners, and the wider park teams and Managers.
- Seek to be positive, lively, engaging and confident throughout the season, ensuring you keep the ‘can do’ attitude we strive for.
- Be punctual and deliver activities to the trained standard, using welcome techniques and activity structures, following the correct operating policies and session plans.
- Ensure all equipment is set-up, packed down and stored correctly as shown as well as helping to keep all working areas clean, tidy & safe at all times.
- Ensure Characters are properly cared for and stored in the correct way and report any issues with puppets to the Entertainment Manager or Assistant.
- To learn all character production shows and adhere to the characters personalities as trained
- Bingo including bingo sales, facts and figures, money handling, bingo cash up, bingo calling, bingo check back & distributing money
- Family stage hosting, tech and assisting in ongoing rehearsals with team to ensure high standards are kept throughout the season.
- Character production; ensuring the magic of Bear in the Woods is constant, puppeteering and assisting team in extra rehearsals where required.
- Visiting Acts; sound checking, ensuring they are welcomed and looked after whilst on an Away Resorts par, tech, stage walk or hosting.
- Light entertainment product; delivering these nightly from quizzes, crowdeoke, discos, race nights, party bingo, oktoberfest/bierkeller, talent shows, escape rooms and big night live.
- Ability to extend beyond an activity host to an entertainer.
- Ability to adapt to social styles depending on audience
- Be open to flexible working hours, split shifts and evenings as well as working your magic on bank holidays and peak times.
- Be able to adapt to immediate or unforeseen challenges of the industry as well as able to work in a fast paced environment.
- You may be required to assist with duties not directly linked to your job description but commensurate with your position from time to time. Your cooperation will always be appreciated but not abused.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1.5 month
Salary: £10.71 per hour
