North East Derbyshire District Council are recruiting for Pest Control Technicians in our exciting Joint Environmental Health Service. Being a Pest Control Technician is an incredibly rewarding role – knowing you can have an impact on other people’s lives for the better can be truly inspiring.
We welcome applications from both qualified Pest Control Technicians and those interested in the role, who do not have any previous experience in pest control. We are prepared to appoint candidates as Trainee Pest Control Technicians, positions fully funded by the Council to complete the industry recognised RSPH/BPCA – Level 2 Award in Pest Management.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about providing excellent customer service - you will be visiting customers across North East Derbyshire and Bolsover to inspect and carry out appropriate treatments for a range of pests, in particular rodents and insects. We are also implementing mobile working solutions meaning you will be able to work smartly and efficiently.
