Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
- Taking and developing dental X-rays.
- Sterilising and disinfecting instruments and treatment areas.
- Providing oral health advice and instructions to patients.
- Recording patient information and maintaining accurate dental records.
- Ensuring strict adherence to infection control and health and safety protocols.
- Assisting with administrative tasks, such as appointment scheduling and billing.
Requirements:
- Undergo training within a college setting to achieve the relevant certifications and registrations (duration approx 18 months).
- Good knowledge of IT systems, and a quick learner.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
