Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
  • Taking and developing dental X-rays.
  • Sterilising and disinfecting instruments and treatment areas.
  • Providing oral health advice and instructions to patients.
  • Recording patient information and maintaining accurate dental records.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to infection control and health and safety protocols.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, such as appointment scheduling and billing.

Requirements:

  • Undergo training within a college setting to achieve the relevant certifications and registrations (duration approx 18 months).
  • Good knowledge of IT systems, and a quick learner.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
