Job description
We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a graduate to join our Forensic Accounting, Corporate Finance and Business Restructuring & Insolvency teams. Sitting across all three departments, the successful candidate will undertake their Chartered Accountancy training whilst gaining experience of these specialist departments. The position will initially be offered on a three-year fixed-term training contract. With continued support and mentoring, we aim to make the transition from university to work life as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Forensic Accounting
Henderson Loggie is one of the few independent Scottish accountancy firms with a specialist, full-time, forensic accounting team. You will be working on cases that cover all aspects of civil litigation where expert accounting input is required from contentious share and business valuations to consequential loss claims and investigations into potential frauds or wrongdoing.
Corporate Finance
In Corporate Finance you will be working in Mergers & Acquisitions (company sales, acquisitions and management buy-outs), preparing financial due diligence reports for fund raising projects and assisting clients in preparing business plans and financial projections.
Business Restructuring & Insolvency
Our Business Recovery & Insolvency team works with businesses in distress, helping work out what the options are and then implementing those options. This often involves formal insolvency processes. You will develop quick commercial thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
