Protocol Education are seeking a recent Psychology Graduate to join the friendly SEN/SEMH department of a “good” Sunderland based secondary school.
The client is offering a full-time role until the end of the current academic year with a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to become a permanent member of staff at the end of the placement.
The Opportunity offers:

- £385-£425 per week paid into your account every Friday.
The main duties of this role include:
- Working alongside the class teacher to support children who need support both in and out of the classroom.
- Supporting children with an EHCP alongside the SEN team.
- Leading sessions outside of the classroom with children both 1-1 and small groups.
- Planning and resourcing intervention sessions.
- Working alongside other professionals to assess children.
- Supporting children pastorally to enable them to feel safe and secure both at school and at home.
The client school are urgently seeking for somebody to recruit for this role so candidates should not delay applying and beginning the registration process.

All applicants must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo relevant DBS checks. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate their right to live and work in the UK and will live within the Tyne & Wear/Co. Durham area or be willing to commute.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
