Job description
Do you love being organised? Are you motivated by managing budgets and ensuring projects and processes run smoothly? Do you enjoy collaborating with people? If yes, read on!
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about budget management and is confident in compiling and tracking data. The Marketing Projects and Budget Coordinator role ensures that in a very busy marketing environment we control our costs, and use data to identify improvements to how we work and the effectiveness of our marketing.
You’ll need to understand how a budget is structured, working with our finance department to track invoicing and payments. You will be confident in managing stakeholders, holding them to account for the spend they make, proactively seeking out information to ensure spend is correctly documented.
Your core budget responsibilities will include tracking of all departmental spend with marketing teams to ensure adherence to budget, producing a monthly report for the Head of Marketing. You will ensure all orders, commissions and invoices are coded promptly and correctly in order to track and maintain budget accuracy, liaising with the Finance department to undertake this responsibility. You will use your budget data to produce reports that analyse spend and aid decision making.
You will also support managers within the Marketing Team, reporting on the progress and performance of our projects and campaigns, by collating and analysing data for our campaign review reports.
You will also support the roll out and maintenance of new departmental processes, as well as supporting the delivery of some Marketing projects when required.
In order to be successful in this role you will be someone who easily develops effective working relationships and is confident working with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Attention to detail will be your key strength, and your organisational skills will be legendary.
Working in marketing is fast-paced and frenetic. If you enjoy tracking and managing data in an ever-changing environment, then this could be the role for you.
