Are you enthusiastic about sales where service and credibility are paramount? If so, you may be our new Trade Sales Manager in the Southwest of England & South Wales.
Mascot International Limited, is a wholly UK-owned subsidiary of Mascot International A/S, one of Europe’s leading designers and manufacturers of workwear and safety footwear.
The role is to open new MASCOT distribution channels in the construction sector. You will work with a qualified list of independent distributors who currently sell other brands of workwear but who have shown an interest in selling MASCOT products.
The role
Reporting to our National Business Development Manager for Trade, your task is to develop the sales of MASCOT workwear and safety footwear within builder’s merchants, trade counters and retail within the construction market in Southwest of England and South Wales .
Your main role objectives include.
- To increase the number of distribution outlets promoting and selling MASCOT clothing, footwear, accessories, and e-commerce solutions in line with the current sales policy.
- To promote and sell seasonal and other campaigns to new distributors.
- To merchandise and build MASCOT stands in customer premises to effectively market Mascot to the end user.
- To attend exhibitions and trade days where required.
Our UK sales team currently consists of 11 people and you will work closely with them, our Customer Services Department, our Marketing Department and our Shop-in-Shop Department.
Commercially driven profil
Young at heart with a strong work ethic, you will likely be currently selling or have experience in selling to independent distributors, builder’s merchants, trade counters, retail outlets, tool stores and similar channels. You will be self-motivated and have a successful and reasonably current trading relationship with key people in these businesses.
Although you have longevity in your employment record, you now want to further develop your career with an organisation that is professional, ethical and award winning. Experience in workwear and footwear may not necessarily be key for the right person as comprehensive training will be given.
On a personal note you are a driven and energetic person, who enjoys working in a dynamic work environment. Your structured way of working enables you to maintain an overall focus even when your days are busy. You are both capable of working and creating strong results on your own as well as being a strong team player.

The reward
The position comes with a competitive base salary and uncapped commission as well as a bonus for achieving results. The position includes a fully expensed company car for business and private use as well as company pension scheme.
