About The Role
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours
Location: Head Office, Nottingham (flexible and Hybrid working available)
Due to growth, we have 2 brand new Business Analyst roles available within our Technology & Change team in Nottingham. This is an exciting time to join the Society to support our business transformation and the delivery our exciting new strategy. We have a large, progressive change agenda with lots of exciting new projects and opportunities in the pipeline – if you’re excited by change, transformation and a new challenge, this is the perfect role for you.
As a Business Analyst at The Nottingham, you will lead BA activity on allocated projects whilst supporting the ongoing development of the function through coaching of team members and driving continuous improvement.
This is an exciting role where you will work on some of the Society’s key strategic projects and will join a welcoming and innovative team.
Here's a taste of what you’ll be doing as a Business Analyst at The Nottingham…
- Support the delivery of the organisation’s change plan, comprising of programmes, projects and small change initiatives – all of which will be supporting our exciting new strategy
- Conducting early project shaping and scoping activity, feasibility studies and the production of Project Brief documentation
- The capture of business requirements, with supporting models and documentation, and the management of those requirements through the change lifecycle
- Collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of seniority and project team members to support the design, development, test, implementation and closedown activity undertaken by change initiatives
- Contribution to the ongoing development of the business analysis function, driving continuous improvement bringing fresh new thinking to the table
- Support the development of business analysis team members via coaching, mentoring and peer to peer support
What we’re looking for –
You’ll be able to demonstrate transferable skills and experience within a similar role – we are looking for an individual who can confidently lead business analysis activity on complex change initiatives with significant knowledge of business analysis processes, tools, techniques and best practice standards.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role and how we work at The Nottingham – we are looking for someone with excellent stakeholder management skills who can demonstrate high levels of engagement and deliver with plenty of positive energy and pace.
