We have an exciting vacancy for an ambitious, experienced, and enthusiastic Software Developer looking for their next career step. We’re looking for a self-starter who is adept at managing projects and who can stay organised as we scale. This role will grow into a Senior Developer position and successful candidate will have huge input on the direction the system moves in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise the existing code base.
- Liaise with our external developers and handle knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with external developers and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and programming trends.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code and appreciate that code quality / legibility is more important than speed of execution.
- Take ownership of the project with a view to building a successful and dynamic team.
- Planning Deprecation, Managing Staging to Live.
- Be comfortable taking responsibility for sub-systems as well as features.
Essential Experience/ Skills
- Thorough grounding in test planning, execution, and documentation.
- Previous demonstrable and extensive experience working with PHP, MySQL, Laravel, GIT, VUE, Bootstrap, Ionic
- Good understanding of Google Cloud and/or AWS architecture.
- Light Sysadmin (Linux)
