This is a fixed term position of 12 months.

The shift pattern for this position is 5 over 7.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Generic HCSW to join the AHP team in the South Sector. This post will be split between the Surgical/Critical Care Therapy service and the Major Trauma service. This is a fixed term position for 12 months.
This post involves supporting the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy staff in delivering a high quality service to patients. The successful candidate will be based within the Major Trauma ward and Critical Care/ Surgical ward environment.
The applicant will be expected to carry their own caseload and to treat patients as delegated by a qualified Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapists and according to set treatment protocols.
Candidate must have previous experience of working with adults and have the skills to engage with and motivate others. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to health care. Candidates should display flexibility and evidence a strong team work ethic.
Training will be provided to allow you to undertake clinical and non-clinical duties. You will be fully supported by the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy staff and will participate in supervision and personal development planning to help fulfil continuous professional development.
The post is advertised as 31 hours per week the pattern of which is negotiable.
