Are you interested in leading the end-to-end supply chain strategy over a product’s lifecycle for various GSK manufacturing sites? If so, this is the role for you.
As Medicine Supply Chain and Network Lead you will manage the development and end-to-end supply chain strategy for the full product lifecycle. In addition, you will have responsibility for the dose form network strategy ensuing that all manufacturing sites have a coherent short and long-term support on all products.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Work with multiple teams, develop a global commercial picture for specific products within their franchise that includes key risks, issues & sensitivities and dose form.
Be accountable for product and dose form related commercial information and the translation into Global Manufacturing Supply timeframe of 0 – 10 years.
Work across the organization, develop supply strategies for specific products within the franchise and network.
Lead scenario planning to ensure product supply chain and factory network plans robustly support commercial ambition.
Prepare sourcing decisions for product and network recommending capacity and technical capability requirements.
Develop lifecycle management options for specific products within the franchise.
Develop end-to-end supply chain vision and design for specific products and relevant network of sites.
Prepare a balanced scorecard measure and targets for supply chain.
Contribute to the franchise external environment as input to specific product and network strategy development.
Lead specific medicine supply chain teams to assure supply continuity plans are in place to support and guide technical strategy of product and network of factories.
Proactively identify supply chain risks, create and implement plans for GSK’s revenue and medically critical products and escalate to Pharma Review Board.
Lead the resolution of short term global supply issues for the product or network in collaboration with logistics and operations.
Convert global product revenue scenarios into product volume forecasts for all new products.
Prepare and maintain Product Lifecycle Supply Strategy’s (PLSS) and end-to-end supply chain vision for each of the new products within the Franchise.
Manage Global Manufacturing Supply Network’s external environment scan covering trading, regulatory, business change, as input to the strategy development.
Manage GMS Dose form network strategy in both primary and secondary.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s degree
Experience in end-to-end supply chain design experience.
Experience with industry standard supply chain management techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Scientific or Business
Experience in developing others
Complex problem-solving ability in handling technical, quality, regulatory and operational areas
Knowledge of Global Manufacturing Supply network and capability
Understanding of dose form use
Strategy development techniques approach across multiple functions
