Job description
We are looking for a Center Shift Leader/Manager who runs the day-to-day operations of this retail location. He or she may be required to open and close the center, help manage productivity and ensure the center’s team delivers world-class customer service to all customers, monitor cost control and expenses, and contribute to weekly and monthly reports developed by the Center Manager and provided to the franchise owner. The Center Shift Lead/Manager is involved with continuous improvement, service delivery levels, personnel management, and business development.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (college coursework or a degree preferred), one year of retail store operations experience, strong supervisory/managerial/leadership skills, excellent computer/internet/software knowledge, and the physical ability to perform this job (lifting, bending, etc.), and knows how to listen, follow, lead, and help attain defined targets. He or she must have a dynamic personality and must be able to help motivate a team to optimize performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Helps with personnel management, which includes recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching associates
- Schedules work assignments, monitors evaluates and helps maximize customer service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Manages inventory
- Helps oversee Center maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization Performs other duties as assigned
Other Types of Work for self and other associate oversight:
- Shipping/Mailing - Processing shipments for customers
- Package/Mail Sorting - Sorting incoming deliveries for pickup
- Packing - Providing packing service for customers
- Passport Photos -Taking photos for passport pictures
- Printing, Scanning, Faxing - Providing print services to customers
- Notary - Verifying ID of document signers
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2-4 years of supervisory experience in retail and/or management
- Good knowledge of sales and marketing
- Excellent leadership, time-management, and communication skills
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
- Outstanding phone skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Outstanding phone skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible
- A high school diploma or GED required
- Able to lift 40 pounds
