Job Purpose:

The Technical Enablement team require a Technology Resilience Analyst as part of the Technology Resilience Management team to support and underpin the organisational ITIL discipline and capability .


Key Responsibilities
:


  • Supporting Technology resilience and disaster recovery activities including technical solutions assessments, DR technical run book build and update, DR testing and reporting results to the Technology Resilience Lead.
  • Help to identify and implement technology resilience improvement.
  • Work with Change Management to ensure changes consider technology resilience impact.
  • Provide input to technology resilience framework and processes when required.
  • Work with technology teams to build and maintain DR plans.
  • Engage with Operation Resilience team to ensure requirements are met.
  • Work with technology resilience lead to maintain platform stability.
  • Manage third parties’ technology resilience obligations.
  • Provide guidance to business and IT to comply with technology resilience regulatory rules.
  • Maintain the Technology Resilience artefacts up to date.
  • Develop and Maintain Disaster Recovery Schedule.
  • Maintain The Technical DR runbooks up to date.
  • Maintain the DR Heatmap
  • Run post DR activity reviews and capture lessons learned and update risk register when needed.
  • Support the work related to services mapping to priotorize services recovery.

Skills and Experience Specification:


Essential:


  • Knowledge or experience in technology resilience planning.
  • Very strong analytical skills.
  • Very strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to interact and work efficiently and effectively with employees across the organization.
  • Strong administrative skills, including effectiveness in developing project plans to achieve target dates.
  • 5+ years’ experience of working in the field of disaster recovery and/or technology resilience.
  • Deep expertise in ITIL process and best practices with associated ITIL qualifications
  • Experience of disaster recovery testing covering cloud and on-prem services.
  • Experience of supporting IT services, using recognised frameworks, methods, and tooling
  • Experience of developing a constructive working relationship with Product Teams, Service Teams, and business units.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the need to keep commercial aspects continually in mind when taking actions or making decisions
  • Experience of communicating complex technical issues and sensitive information to business units, senior stakeholders, the wider user community
  • Financial Services sector experience, or experience gained in a highly regulated environment, is an advantage but not essential.
