We have a golden opportunity for you, to become a technical writer for Soucy Track Systems!
Yes, in this position, you will be responsible for implementing user manuals for the Système de Chenilles we manufacture. Also, you will have to maintain an in-house configurator (internal database) used in the internal ordering process.
Here's an overview of your tasks:
- Participate in the development process of the assembly steps for the elaboration of manuals
- Create user manuals for all types of equipment sold
- Collaborate with an external partner for the translation of our manuals in the user's native language
- Maintain and improve the internal order configurator
- Create different databases that unify the vehicles sold on the market and the Soucy products
- Research the different vehicles that will be used for development purposes in our dealer network
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- You have a DEP in industrial design or equivalent training
- You have experience in technical writing
- You have knowledge of Arbortext or a technical writing software
- You have knowledge of SolidEdge or a computer-aided design software (an asset)
- You have a very good command of written English, this is essential!
- You have a quick mechanical understanding and interest in this field
