Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (Times can be flexible)
The role will be based in Hemel Hempstead 2 days per week and there will be an element of the role that required travel around London, Southampton & South Wales
A company vehicle will be provided for this role.
You will also require to be part of the on call rota
Purpose of the job
To provide Technical assistance and supervision to the account and support the Contract Manager in maintaining a compliant and operational Contract.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1 To complete PPM’s and reactive tasks for those sites you are responsible for
2 To plan, organise and supervise PPM, reactive and projects work across the Account
3 To provide technical support to the Facilities Co-Ordinators and other team member in the production of customer quotes.
4 To collate and present monthly reports on PPM and reactive tasks across the account
5 To issue risk assessments to all direct reports, ensure these are reviewed and signed off.
6 To administer quality management system documentation and ensure compliance.
7 Line management of engineering team including appraisals, grievances, performance reviews etc.
8 Be hands-on with engineering tasks as required and support with any holiday cover across the account
9 Develop and initiate training plans for the engineering team.
10 Help to drive a culture of safety, compliance and excellent customer service throughout the team.
11 Act as the point of reference for all technical issues on the sites.
12 Carry out internal and external audits as required supporting the client and Contract Manager
13 Preparation of financial and resourcing forecasts for engineering tasks.
14 To participate in the weekly callout rota.
15 Overtime as and when required.
Competencies
1. Electrically qualified with a good knowledge of HVAC and general building and FM services – essential.
2. Experienced in leading a small team – preferred.
3. Computer literate – proficient in the use of all MS Office products – essential.
4. Excellent customer skills – essential.
5. Good financial awareness – essential.
6. Supply chain management – essential.
