Responsibilities
As a Onboarding Co-ordinator, you'll be working within the Devonport team, administering employing company requirements whilst ensuring compliance to MOD regulation and working collaboratively with client access teams to provide a first-class candidate experience.
Your day to day will include:
Engaging with successful new employees & staff transfers and guiding them through the Devonport Dockyard onboarding process, including various levels of government security vetting
Coordinating multiple new starts through various pre-requisite inductions and checks
Responsible for conducting pre-employment checks and ensuring compliance at all times.
Maintaining impeccably accurate confidential employee records and candidate files, using inhouse systems and excel
Maintaining accurate diaries of all events happening and records of all new starts
What do we need from you?
This role of Onboarding Co-ordinator is great for you if:
You'll have excellent communication skills (Both written and verbal), with either previous experience of working within an Onboarding role or a similar high-volume administration role
You'll possess excellent customer focus: excelling at customer service and ability to build rapport
You'll have good initiative and judgement skills with problem solving, ability to self-manage the workload with excellent time management skills, and an ability to meet tight deadlines
You'll be confident and self-organised individual with a professional and responsible attitude who is adaptable and flexible in times of change
You'll be IT Literate using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe Pro with attention to detail (compliant with right to work and compliance checks - though training will be provided).
