The role:
Responsible for assisting the Trade Marketing Manager in the successful execution of marketing activity across our key retailers both online and offline ensuring Clarins obtains the best support and opportunities. The coordinator ensures timely and on brand execution of all product launches & promotion activities across online & in store environments, optimising towards a best-in-class journey. Taking ownership of the print and design process for all retailer activity, EG: Gift with Purchase and online marketing support packages. They are great at quick and efficient multi-tasking. They are organised, have a strong work ethic, smooth communication skills and an interest in the Beauty industry.
What you’ll do:
- In an environment where Assist the Trade Marketing Manager in developing full and robust product/category launch plans for each retailer, ensuring we are driving growth and obtaining the best opportunities within our key retail partners.
- Plan the promotional calendar for each retailer as well as forecasting relevant stock.
- Prepare and ensure the timely delivery of all launches, including asset packs and promotions to retailers.
- Implementation of marketing support inclusive of online banners, CRM, social & in store packages etc.
- Own the design process for new assets for POS, banners, CRM, etc and oversee the approval and distribution process including any admin.
- Manage GWP promotions across retailers, from negotiating free visibility, allocation to delivery and reporting.
- Create relevant packing lists and salesplans liaising with Supply Chain to ensure on-time delivery.
- Update retailer investment plans and promotional & trade support calendars for each retailer.
- Monitor activity and deliver a post campaign analysis of each retailer activity to the Trade Marketing Manager.
- Website auditing & monitoring of Clarins content with the relevant partners.
- Track and monitor and FOC activity provided by our retailers such as emails.
- Coordination of relevant presentations and reports as requested by Trade Marketing Manager.
- Liaising with the media agency on any advertising requests, ensuring creation and on-time delivery of relevant assets and PO’s are actioned and approved within a timely manner.
- Proactively take initiative to monitor market visibility online & instore across retailers and competitors to identify ideas, innovations and trends for future opportunities.
- Make relevant recommendations and come up with ideas to improve business and drive sales.
- Liaise with external agencies to brief and monitor assets production.
- Admin support to Trade Marketing Manager.
- Raising relevant PO’s.
Retail Partners including online accounts:
JLP, Boots, Frasers, Fenwick, Selfridges, Harrods, Next, AIS, Morleys, Hoopers.
You are:
- Customer-oriented, results-oriented, passionate about our brand and challenges, entrepreneurial mindset.

- Adaptable to think critically and creatively to bring solutions to varied markets.
You have:
- 1 year of experience in Marketing, preferably Trade Marketing within cosmetics or luxury retail environment.
- Knowledge of current trends within cosmetics industry.
- An creative approach with experience in design, print buying, copy writing and a feel for visual merchandising.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong copywriting skills and creative mindset.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint and basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop.
- An understanding of the UK retail landscape, both online and offline. Including an understanding of the key retailers within the UK.
- A strong commercial mindset with a creative flair.
- Ability to negotiate when required.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to fixed deadlines.
