Job description

Our Shepshed based client are recruiting for a Technical Advisor to join their team. You will provide effective technical support to customers over the phone and via email. Candidates must have a background in mechanical/ electrical engineering.

Permanent role.
Monday to Friday.
£32,000

Technical Advisor - Engineering – The Role:
  • Prioritise and process technical customer queries and requests, identifying faults and offering solutions.
  • Be a main point of contact for technical advice for all stakeholders.
  • Work with the wider customer services team to deliver technical advice and solutions.
  • Progress chase all queries, whilst keeping the customer informed throughout.
  • Ensure all administration is completed to a high level.
  • Identify and highlight opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
Technical Advisor - Engineering – The Candidate:
  • Technical knowledge including mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Experience dealing with customers to give technical advice.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Enthusiasm and an excellent team player.
