Operations Manager (Repairs)
circa £50,000 + 10% car allowance
40 hours per week
We are looking to recruit an Operations Manager (Repairs) to support the Assistant Director of Homefix with delivering our ongoing Homefix Improvement Plan and achieving our aim of ‘first-time fix’ for our customers whilst delivering value for money. Our Homefix brand provides high-quality responsive repairs and planned works service to our customers. The works are carried out by the following trade teams: Gas and Plumbing, Electrical, Neighbourhood Improvement, Repairs, and Planned Works.
The Operations Manager (Repairs) will contribute to delivering the Homefix Improvement Plan by specifically ensuring the successful and compliant delivery of Saxon Weald’s repairs and maintenance of our properties, with an aim of ‘first-time fix’. This is achieved via a dedicated in-house team with partnering support from selected contractors who share Saxon Weald’s commitment to delivering first-class services to our customers.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- have experience in successfully managing a contractor delivering repair or maintenance services;
- have up-to-date knowledge and experience of managing a repairs service;
- demonstrate confident leadership, coaching and management skills;
- be commercially focused with experience of budget management;
- have an understanding of the Decent Homes Standard and other such legislation
- build excellent working relationships and collaborate effectively;
- be a confident problem solver and decision-maker.
