Equans is looking for a Technical Administrator to join our team with Astra Zeneca in Macclesfield on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, along with a company benefits package.

Overview:

The successful candidate will be assisting the Contract Manager to deliver the Critical Success Factors outlined in the Client contract as well as planning and scheduling workloads within the team. You will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient use of resources, time and materials at all times.

you will ensure timely completion and compliance of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) whilst delivering operation and maintenance support to the CHP Plant and Site Utilities.

Reporting to the Contract Manager, the Technical Administrator shall undertake and coordinate their workload in the role with minimum supervision, maintaining a flexible approach.

You will be very client focussed and be able to effectively follow the quality processes and procedures put in place, including to pro-actively identify areas of improvement.

Key Deliverables:

  • Administration of site routine activities, including: SAP reports, KPI reports, Delivery of toolbox talks, Procurement Card return, Overtime submissions, Plant operating log returns, Procurement and Invoice reporting and Asset Repair Fund (AFR) reporting.
  • Site administration of holidays / sickness absence reporting.
  • Attend meetings with clients at their request or as a delegate for Contract Manager and / or Building Manager in matters relating to resource, service and or health & safety to maintain good relations.
  • Identify procurement challenge savings / tendering to ensure sustainable savings.
  • Administration of legionella management tool / lifting equipment inspections / ladder inspections / COSHH / Pressure system safety inspections / annual equipment calibrations.
  • Create and maintain high quality records and reports of maintenance activities to deliver useful plant history data which complies with all relevant statutory requirements.
  • Work flexibly within a small O&M team, contributing to defined operational and maintenance requirements in a safe and efficient manner.

Required experience and knowledge:

  • Knowledge experience and delivery of process plant operations, engineering and maintenance support activities would be preferred.
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety legislation and its impact on day to day operations.
  • An understanding of the processes and systems required to develop and maintain a high standard of work and work management quality.
  • Minimum of BTEC National Certificate/City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent but preferred Higher National Certificate in an Engineering or Engineering related discipline.
  • A formal health and safety related qualification e.g. IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
  • Excellent IT Skills having experience in operating a range of Systems including Microsoft Office Suite and Maintenance Management System.
