JOB TITLE: Executive Assistant FLSA: Exempt
REPORTS TO: Chief Commercial Officer
SUMMARY: The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the Chief Commercial Officer and/or other assigned leadership staff.
- Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, generating reports, and other documents.
- Schedules and attends meetings on behalf of Chief Commercial Officer as designated, taking notes and recording minutes.
- Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of Chief Commercial Officer, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to President/CEO.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by Chief Commercial Officer.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
- Work occasionally requires a high level of mental effort and strain when performing essential duties. Must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with time constraints and interruptions.
- Work may require more than 40 hours per week.
- Travel as designated by Chief Commercial Officer

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit/stand for most of his/her job duties. There is the need to frequently walk. There will be a moderate amount of standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, lifting and reaching for some of his/her job duties.
Visual requirements include reading off a computer screen as well as printed materials. A high degree of dexterity is required due to frequent use of a telephone and PC.
Verbal and auditory requirements include the ability to communicate clearly over the telephone as well as in person.
There is a moderate level of grasping, lifting, pushing and/or pulling of objects of less than 25 lbs.
