Job Description: Event Crew / Technician
Company Overview:
Join one of the North West's leading entertainment providers as a Full Time Event Crew member. Our company is currently experiencing significant growth and offers a dynamic and exciting work environment.
Role Summary:
As a full time Event Crew, you will play a vital role in the delivery of our events, which span from Weddings and Private Parties to Corporate Events and Brand Activations. This is a busy role, where no two days are the same.
Location:
Our head office and warehouse is based in Bolton with event work being carried out throughout the North West, primarily in the Ribble Valley, Manchester and Cheshire.
Working Schedule:
This is a full-time position, and availability during both weeknights and weekends is required. You will primarily perform during evening hours, aligning with the timing of events.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload vehicles with event equipment and materials
- Set up and de-rig audio, visual and lighting equipment at various events
- Operate and manage photo booths at events, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests
- Assist with warehouse maintenance, including equipment inventory, organization, and upkeep
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely and efficient execution of event setups and operations
Requirements:
- Positive “can-do” attitude and ability to work efficiently in a fact-aced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional experiences to event attendees.
- Hold a valid UK driving license, allowing you to transport equipment and materials as necessary.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects, as this role involves loading and unloading event equipment
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate setup and execution of events.
- Prior experience in event setup, audio-visual operations, or related fields is preferred but not required.
