Tempest Education are seeking for passionate and motivated Teaching Assistant to embark on their journey into education and work at some of London's best schools. This primary school is looking for experienced TAs who have a passion to work with children within education.
Main Responsibility
- Build relationship with pupils quickly and efficiently
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all the times
- Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis
- Working 1:1 with a child who is challenging
- Working alongside the Class Teacher
- Work closely with the SENCO leader
About the role
- Recent or previous experience working with children
- Full or relevant qualification
- Be familiar with KS1 and KS2
- Strong/Good knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
- Demonstrate good behaviour strategy
- Have a good communication skills
- Are reliable and hold a great attendance and punctuality record
- Understand how to work with SEN pupils
- Clear Enhanced DBS check (Update service)

- £86 - £105 per day
