About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and caring individuals to join our team as General Teaching Assistants in the Reception class. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young learners. You will play a vital role in supporting their social, emotional, and academic development during this crucial stage of their education.
Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons tailored to the needs of Reception students.
- Support students in their early literacy and numeracy development through targeted activities and interventions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting social skills and emotional well-being.
- Assist with classroom management and organisation, including setting up resources and preparing materials.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and other staff members to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
Requirements
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their early educational journey.
- Good understanding of various educational needs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Right to Work Documents & an up-to-date DBS.
- Good personality, Cheerful and good with Children.
