Skills and Experience We are looking for individuals who are: Excellent, experienced Teaching Assistants. Able to support the learning of students with a range of severe, complex and profoun learning difficulties, with and without autism. Enthusiastic and motivated towards SEN and are creative in their approach. Effective at working within a team of dedicated and highly-skilled staff and can work flexibly with a range of professionals to provide the best possible outcomes for our students. Strong, innovative and committed team players, who enjoy a challenge, can think positively and have a good sense of humour. Students have a range of complex needs; SLD, PMLD, ASD and severe challenging behaviour. The majority of our students have severely impaired communication needs and a wide range of medical needs. Heron Academy Lambeth is based on two sites, and caters for students up to 25 years of age. Unlocking potential is what we do.
