Business Analyst Role

Join BAE Systems as a Product Business Analyst. In this role, you will be working on cutting edge data analytics products that are used day in, day out to protect countries around the world from a variety of threats.
Role Accountabilities:
Work with customers and customer project teams to establish customer and market problems and therein business requirements to be met by the product, both in the near term and long term- Elicit, document and manage requirements through the software engineering lifecycle
- Work with customers to agree and baseline customer requirements and establish appropriate change control processes to manage change
- Work with the Product Manager to establish and articulate the product vision and roadmap to provide direction to the wider team
- Define non-functional requirements including but not limited to performance, availability, capacity, availability amongst others.
- Ability to plan and facilitate effective workshops
- Work with the UX consultant and developers to derive atomic requirements that can be delivered through the scrum methodology
- Plan the elaboration workstream of product development to ensure there is a coherent delivery plan of requirements artefacts that support the overall software delivery
- Works with clients/users in defining acceptance tests
- Demonstrate evolving capability to a variety of stakeholders to encourage early feedback
- Work with test teams to ensure requirements are understood within the test phase as well as supporting defect management

You will be joining our Government Products business which has customers in UK National Security, UK Policing and International Government.
