A leading Asset Management and Venture capital firm is looking to recruit a new Tax Manager to support with tax compliance and all related corporate tax matters for a busy FTSE listed business. This is a senior role with progression to Director for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a market leading group. You will either be an ACA from an Accountancy Firm or a CTA Qualified professional from general Industry. We are open to candidates from either - however, you must have some experience in Financial Services.

Responsibilities:

• Providing tax advisory services to the Group and fund structures as well as developing and optimising tax strategy
• Providing in-house advice to support the management and investment teams
• Providing ad-hoc tax advice to the Group (covering corporation tax, VAT, PAYE)
• Advising on tax implications of potential acquisition opportunities and support on structuring new deals from a tax perspective
• Providing advice on permanent establishment risk across global jurisdictions and transfer pricing
• Oversight of all tax compliance/filings, ensuring these are submitted on time along with any payments falling due
• Ensure optimal use of tax reliefs (R&D, capital allowances etc)
• Documenting and maintaining all tax policies and procedures

Skills/Experience:

• 5-10 years of strong technical tax experience, gained within a tax department, audit firm and/or financial accounting team
• ACA qualified or a relevant tax or accounting qualification -ACT
• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Inquisitive mind/Eager to learn
