CACI is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Fort Belvoir, VA to support an Army Product Management office.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Provides expert support, analysis, and research on exceptionally complex problems including technical direction, interpretation, system design, interoperability, and alternative solutions for current and future systems.
Participates in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (such as System Functional Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, etc.) and assists in defining appropriate entrance and exit criteria for those reviews.
Supports requirements and capabilities gap analysis IAW the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System process, and translation of user capability needs/requirements into performance specifications for all program systems.
Serves as a technical expert on executive level project teams and lead technical working groups to support product development, working closely with the product manager, functional support, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
Provides expertise in the development of documents to include, but not limited to, Technology Readiness Levels documentation for hardware and software, Engineering Change Proposals, Program Baselines, Engineering Risk Assessments, and Technical Manuals.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable)
Configuration Management and Engineering Change Proposal support experience for current Product Office Programs of Record (PoRs) and Quick Reaction Capability (QRC).
Engineering support experience for the current Product Office PoRs and QRCs
Master's Degree preferably in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline and eight (8) years of applicable engineering experience preferably in a DoD acquisition program office or similar organization.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline, and 10 years of experience may substitute for master’s degree.
