INNOVIM is seeking Enterprise IT System Architects to support our NCEI Data Stewardship contract. Your career at INNOVIM helps NCEI to serve as the central archive for NOAA’s multi-billion-dollar investment in satellite and in situ observations, and model forecasts and projections. Job Description
The Enterprise IT System Architects assist with designing IT architecture for an organization on an enterprise level. Helps defines IT system and application architecture and provides vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving ability to organization. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Educational Requirements: BS/BA
Experience Requirements:
- Enterprise IT System Architect I: Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision and guidance. With 0 to 2 years experience in related field.
- Enterprise IT System Architect II: Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision. With 2 to 4 years experience in related field.
- Experienced with working in a SAFe methodology.
NCEI is headquartered in Asheville, North Carolina. This position may be worked remotely.
