SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR - MICROSOFT 365 / CLOUD
Up to £50,000
Hybrid - Manchester based (2-3 days per week in office) plus infrequent travel to other sites
A private equity backed organisation who are due to go through a huge Merger and Acquisition programme are seeking a Systems Administrator to join the team based in Manchester City Centre. This is a hybrid role, requiring you in office 2-3 days a week with the rest from home, and some infrequent travel to other sites.
Responsibilities include:
- Management/maintenance of Microsoft 365 (user accounts/licences/groups/permissions/policies)
- Implementation/maintenance of policies within MS Intune MDM System
- Working with Head of End User Compute to rollout/support/configure/maintain end user devices (windows and android/branch office networking devices/printers/mobile phones/laptops/desktops/peripherals)
- Bringing new sites onto a standard connectivity/security posture
- Tracking issues fed to support team/ensuring comms are delivered for any change/advising of improvements and delivering them
Skills/Abilities required:
- Full, clean driving licence
- Strong knowledge/understanding of Microsoft Office 365 Administration
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals - TCP/IP/DNS/VPN
- Experience including at least 2 years in each of: Direct end user support (helpdesk or onsite), Office 365 administration, network administration
- Experience working for either a small in-house IT team or at an MSP supporting multiple clients/systems
- Experience including large scale rollouts (200+), onsite network device installation, maintenance of hardware inventories/registers
- Troubleshooting/problem solving/organisational skills and a passion for keeping up with new tech trends/identifying opportunities to deliver new solutions
Ideal but not essential:
- Microsoft Certified
- Microsoft Intune experience
- Microsoft Azure experience
- Previous involvement in integration of acquired businesses/sites
