About the role
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time innovative, enthusiastic and motivated NMC registered Occupational Health Manager to join British Airways Health Services.
Based at Waterside, British Airways Head Office close to Heathrow, you will play an integral part in the provision of a proactive occupational health service that meets the demands of a fast-moving business environment, to support the health and well-being of colleagues across British Airways.
We are a friendly, supportive team of dynamic, multi-specialist OH Physicians and Advisors, providing specialist health advice and assistance to colleagues. We contribute to management of fitness for work and sickness absence, plus the prevention of work-related ill health in ground, air and overseas environments.
Heading a team of Occupational Health Advisors, you will provide clinical leadership in all aspects of Occupational Health. Outward facing to the business, you will also be the key interface between management in various business areas and British Airways Health Services, ensuring that our service meets the needs of the business.
You must have strong organizational, communication and leadership skills, plus the ability to multi-task in a busy changing environment. The ability to work and travel flexibly as well as adapting to change is essential.
About you
- Part 3 NMC Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years managerial experience in occupational health, along with people management skills.
- Previous experience as an occupational health advisor with extensive knowledge in case management and workplace assessments.
- A degree level qualification in occupational health and previous experience in aviation would be advantageous.
