Hilton Housing is working in partnership with a number of Housing Associations to recruit Housing Support Workers to provide support for vulnerable adults living in supported accommodation across Birmingham.
We are looking for experienced candidates to provide a variety of services to individuals that need of Housing Support
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
To Provide Support, Care and Supervision to Vulnerable adults
Support Workers will be required to conduct risk assessments and create support plans for each tenant according to their needs
Support Workers will carry out weekly supervision sessions with the tenants to ensure they are able to manage their tenancy effectively.
Support workers will carry out 2/3 welfare checks on individuals during the week.
The support sessions involve
- Assisting with Budgeting / Benefits
- Assistance with GP registration
- Signposting for drugs and alcohol support
- Move on Accommodation search (Long Term Accommodation)
- Access to Education/Training
- Overcoming employability issues / Help with CV's & Interview skills
- Managing Debts to avoid rent arrears / Maintaining accommodation.
- Reducing anti-social behaviour
You Must have experience working within Housing Support & understand the importance of accurate record keeping for support sessions.
All our record keeping is online and no paper based system
