IT Support Technician: Permanent Post
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm & Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm
Annual Starting Salary: £25,545

The Role:
L.E.A.D. IT Services was incorporated in 2010 and joined L.E.A.D. Academy Trust in September 2016. Over the years we have expanded significantly increasing both our team and the number of customers accessing our services. We specialise in supporting the education sector working with nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and specialist schools. As well as L.E.A.D. Academy Trusts 25 schools we also support many more trusts nationwide.
Our office is based at The Old Post Office in Derby City Centre, which is easily accessible via public transport. The open plan office is bright and airy with high ceilings and a fully equipped kitchen with break out areas. With many of the team being here from the start and lots who have joined along the way, this small knowledgeable, friendly team really is great to be a part of.
We are currently recruiting for a an IT Support Technician, this is an exciting opportunity and would be ideally suited to someone who can deal with new challenges and adapt to the demands of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Be the initial point of contact for end-users on site in schools and business settings
Work independently for all level 1 issues, help to fix level 2 issues under guidance from the Senior Technicians and escalate all level 3 issues to the Senior Technicians
Provide excellent service to customers
To manage all service requests to agreed resolution times (SLA’s)
Maintain the integrity and security of the IT systems
To ‘own’ customer issues through to resolution and recognise when to escalate
Keep IT support tickets updated with developments at all times
Travel up to an hour from Derby on a regular basis will be required
To be successful, you will have:
Knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 7, 8 & 10)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 management
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to carry out network / PC software & hardware diagnostics
Basic Knowledge of Windows Server Environments and Active Directory
Knowledge and experience of Helpdesk software
