IT Support Engineer, £30,000, Horsham

Pearson Carter are currently working alongside a Software House within the Telecoms industry on an IT Engineer role. My client has helped provide solutions for companies such as BT, SKY, EE, and many other worldwide companies.

For this role, they are in search of someone to help provide 1st to 2nd line support along with day-day monitoring and maintenance of internal infrastructure monitoring tools.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and logging technical support requests via phone, email, and in person
• Manage tickets through ticketing systems and escalating issues
• Troubleshooting for hardware, software, and networking issues
• Maintaining hardware and software inventory and ensuring that licenses are up to date
• Installing and configuring computer hardware and software including applications and operating systems
• Creating and configuring VMware/Hyper-V Virtual Machines

Experience:

• Virtualization experience – VMWare and Hyper-V
• Experience Windows Server environments – PowerShell
• Windows Server – 2012, 2016, 2019 and Windows 10/11 Configuration
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals – DNS, Firewalls, etc.

Salary:

They are offering salaries up to £30,000

Location:

Horsham, West Sussex

This would be a fully onsite role, 5 x a week then offering hybrid working after a few years.
