Job description
Do you enjoy travelling and working outdoors?
We are a specialised food trader, selling food via market stalls. Our events season starts from mid February and ends in December with Christmas, leaving the candidate some time off in January. The events we join take place all across the Uk.
The right candidate will start the training as a market stall assistant @£10.50 per hour, and when ready will be assigned a stall and be paid as stall manager @£12 per hour. The normal trading hours are 9am to 6pm (9 hours per day), but they may vary based on each event schedule.
Despite being an itinerant job, the candidates who live in Yorkshire, where the company is based, will be given priority for the position.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, adaptable, and flexible. They must be willing to engage with training and learn all the skills necessary to perform this job in the best way possible.
Social skills are a necessity, as the majority of your day will be spent with colleagues and providing excellent customer service.
Above all the perfect candidate will be committed and motivated, as we believe that any skills needed for this position are achievable with a can-do attitude.
We are a small but united team looking for new members who aim to build steady and solid team relationships that last. Our goal is to build a committed team that can flexibly cover all the events in our program. In exchange there are a lot of transferable skills to gain and a lot of places to see.
Highly important: The candidate must be an experienced driver.
The company will provide accommodation and transport to the event location.
