Contract Summary

IMG is the premium provider of official sports content services to the betting and digital media industries. They have close partnerships with a diverse range of international sports federations and associations including the ATP, MLS, PGA and DP World Tour. A key component of this role will be the ability to develop and lead a product strategy designed to support significant continued business growth. The successful candidate will have experience working as a product leader for prominent digital sports betting properties.

Position Requirements:

This role requires a passionate and experienced Product Director to lead our Video Streaming Development.

The candidate will have a proven track record in delivering OTT Streaming Products and will be highly comfortable working with Development teams to produce cutting-edge products for our customers, particularly in the sports betting space.

This is a diverse and challenging role that will see the successful candidate collaborating with a number of different stakeholders – ranging from Senior Management to some of the world’s leading betting operators and Sports Federations.

This role is key to the evolution of the business and reflects the modern-day challenges IMG faces as a market leader in the digital technology and betting space:

Lead and enrich the development of the master product roadmap for our proprietary live streaming platform
Possess a solid technical understanding of how streaming platforms work and be able to help with improving and problem solving alongside the development teams
Assist the commercial sales teams to formulate customer acquisition and retention strategies underpinned by a product roadmap that prioritises customer and market requirements
Be an integral part of the customer feedback loop in being able to transform customer needs into product solutions and enhancements with a high commercial return
Understand current technology trends and the ‘art of the possible’ to ensure our Product is ready for the Future industry requirements
Maintain a close working relationship with the technology division to shape and manage the timelines, budgets and commercial outcomes related to all products within the Division
Comprehensively capture all business requirements and provide detailed product specifications to ensure the successful delivery
Maintain strong working relationships with internal sales, business operations and technology teams

Produce timely and accurate reporting and documentation as required

Candidate Profile:

Extensive years of experience as a product lead or director for a reputable OTT/streaming platform, including demonstrable experience conceptualising and building streaming solutions for sports betting companies
Proven experience in designing new streaming features capable of increasing engagement and revenue
Strong analytical skills to help validate and support your decision making
Strong communication and presentation skills, including having the ability to deliver the product vision to high level stakeholders including betting operators and sports leagues
Experience working with sportsbook and media publisher video platforms desirable
Able to solve both simple and complex problems in a measured and creative way
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across multiple teams and at varying levels throughout the business
Ability to lead a skilled product team, influence cross-functional teams and motivate others
Excellent oral communication, presentation and networking skills
