We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Kitchen Manager in preparing meals, cleaning the kitchen and its equipment, and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed. The ideal candidate will have experience in a professional kitchen setting but this isn't essential at all as we will provide onsite training. Our menu is very easy to make as it's based around street food and fast-paced service. A passion for food preparation, and an eye for detail. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and surfaces.
- Ensure food safety standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation.
- Organise and store ingredients and supplies.
- Monitor food stock levels.
- Help with dishwashing and cleaning duties.
- Follow instructions from the Kitchen Manager
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-40 per week
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
