The City of Stoke on Trent is offering and exciting opportunity for a highly experienced education professional to lead a newly established service. The Strategic Manager for Education Standards and Partnerships will lead the Council’s statutory functions for education from Birth to Adulthood. Through excellent partnership working with local Academy providers and education leaders in the city you will oversee the quality of provision and drive standards and quality on behalf of our learners. You will have responsibility for all ages, but you must come with proven leadership experience in either Early Years and Primary or Secondary and post 16. The services and functions include: Early Years quality, Standards and outcomes from 5 to 19, SEND standards and effectiveness cross phase, commissioned adult learning, education challenge and productive partnerships with all providers and joined up working across Council and Government services and departments.
