The role

The School of Computer Science at the University of Bristol is looking to recruit a full-time and a part-time Executive Assistant, to join the School’s dynamic Executive Administration Team who work closely to ensure key school activities are managed and delivered professionally, on time, and to budget.

The Executive Assistant works closely with the Executive Support Manager to provide high-level executive and administrative support to senior individuals in the academic and professional services teams. This role facilitates office support, events and enabling efficiency in our practices.

What will you be doing?

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the School of Computer Science.

The post holder will work under the supervision of the Executive Support Manager to ensure key activities are managed and delivered on time and will provide high-quality administrative and executive support to senior academics in the School.

You will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating a central administration workload; diary management, supporting committee meetings, recruitment processes, communications and events. You will play a vital role in facilitating the School’s wider administration requirements, across multiple sites.

You have a proven track record in administration and possess excellent customer service and communication skills. You will be able to form effective relationships with staff and stakeholders at all levels and must be highly organised, with a flexible, proactive, and supportive approach to work, with a friendly and positive disposition.
