Job description
The Lion Hotel Worksop is proud to be part of the Frasers Group and sits in the heart of Worksop town. With 46 bedrooms, 2 conference suites, function room and its own bar and restaurant the Lion Hotel is committed to delivering first class service.
This role will provide first class food & beverage service which will include order taking and processing, involving communicating special requests to kitchen team and general cleaning duties. You will keep a clean and tidy restaurant at all times along with providing excellent customer service to our customers.
You will need to be:
- Hard working and reliable
- Proactive and adaptable to prioritise key tasks
- Personable and approachable to all guests
- Willing and able to work the shifts required to suit the needs of the business
- Willing to take on extra hours to cover holidays/staff shortages
- Well organised to conduct/manage multiple tasks throughout the day
- Understanding of which chemicals are to be used for each task (full training will be given)
- Understanding of COSHH (full training will be given)
Need to Act:
- With energy and drive to perform tasks quickly and effectively
- With initiative, identifying things that require cleaning immediately, without necessarily having to be tasked by a manager In a respectful manner, considering guests around you
- Responsibly and safely when performing all tasks by using the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).With care and consideration by using necessary signage and equipment when performing duties with machinery i.e. Wet floor sign when appropriate, and trailing cables sign when hoovering
- No experience needed as full training will be given
- Must have the ability to communicate well with the public
- 18+ years of age due to the need to work past 10pm and serve alcohol

Working hours for this role are between 7am-11pm, including week days and weekends.
