Location: Home based with regular visits to our Birmingham Head office and travel nationally where required.

Reporting directly to the Head of National Accounts, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and proactively growing a portfolio of RGIS customer accounts.

Position Benefits
· Starting Salary between £40,000 and £45,000 (dependant on experience)
· OTE of up to 30% of Annual salary based on achievement of KPIS

Key Accountabilities
· Manage select grocer/retail accounts with full revenue and margin responsibility
· Provide best in class account management practices and customer service enabling strong relationships with customer contacts and buying contacts
· Provide a consultant and solution-led approach to maximise growth targets within existing customer accounts
· Maintain an effective relationship and account development plan for all customer accounts – assess and evaluate the account portfolio and market considering economic, commercial, cultural and political factors
· Set and deliver on the budgeted revenue, margin and growth targets in consultation with the National Account Director
· Monitor the delivery of work against RGIS standards and customer agreements, taking the required action where necessary
· Ensure that effective customer account procedures and programs are implemented, maintained and policed for compliance
· Assist as required in any activities which promote the company’s capability of winning and sustaining business in existing and new markets
Person Specification
Essential
· Demonstrable success in similar national account management/business development role
· Extensive previous experience in a similar role
· Proven track record in achieving success in negotiations with major national accounts (Grocery/Retail)
· Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skill
· Analysis and research skills required due to the reporting aspect of the role
· UK Driving Licence
Desirable
· Retail, Supply chain / logistics, FMCG or Security Services experience
· Experience in managing top four grocery retailers
· Experiencing in managing customers within health and beauty sector
