Job description

About Us
LoyaltyLion is a data-driven loyalty and engagement platform trusted by thousands of ecommerce brands worldwide. Merchants use LoyaltyLion when they want a loyalty program that is proven to increase customer engagement, retention and spend. Stores using LoyaltyLion typically generate at least $15 for every $1 they spend on the platform.

Today LoyaltyLion works with over 10,000 small and medium sized retailers. Our mission is to help them succeed in the age of Amazon, where they may not be able to compete on price and logistics but can offer a better customer experience. An experience where customers feel valued, rather than just another number.

It’s been an incredible two years for LoyaltyLion. We closed $12.5m early last year and another $12m this year, and we’ve grown from 40 employees to over 100. We’ve built out our Leadership team, recruiting a CTO, CFO and Director of Product amongst other senior hires and we continue to scale quickly, achieving spots in both the Deloitte Fast 50 and the FT1000. This is just the beginning of our inflection point.

The Account Management team at LoyaltyLion is a small but high impact team, responsible for working 100% of renewal and expansion opportunities across our contracted client base. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team, processing a high volume of commercial transactions for many clients and becoming a trusted advisor to some strategic customers.

As a Key Account Manager at LoyaltyLion, you will be responsible for renewing and expanding existing clients, as well as winning back previous clients. You will partner with customer success and support to ensure client satisfaction. Your focus will be on triaging blockers to success, maximising client value and building partnerships with strategic clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Renewing a high volume of existing clients, ensuring clients continue to partner with LoyaltyLion for the long term. Identifying and mitigating any potential churn triggers.
  • Spotting and working revenue expansion opportunities across a high volume of existing clients.
  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of our product offerings and how they address customer pain points, showcasing the recurring value and impact of our solutions.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with strategic clients, understanding their goals, challenges, and needs, and providing solutions that align with their objectives.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure clients receive exceptional service and support, in addition to providing product feedback to maximise customer value.
  • Work on assigned ad hoc projects and take initiative to continuously improve the way our team operates

Requirements:

  • 3 years experience in account management or a related commercial role in SaaS. Proven track record of securing renewals and turning around churn risks.
  • Proven track record of successfully expanding a high volume of clients.
  • Proven track record of managing some strategic accounts.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, able to communicate, build rapport, negotiate and influence effectively.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop account plans aligned with client objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Highly motivated and target-oriented with a passion for exceeding targets whilst delivering exceptional customer experience.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and desire to contribute to a positive and dynamic team culture.
  • Resilience and the ability to thrive under pressure whilst handling high volumes.

If you are a self-motivated, customer-focused individual with a passion for account management and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment, we want to hear from you. Join the LoyaltyLion team and be part of our exciting growth journey as we revolutionise customer loyalty in the digital landscape.
