Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stores Assistant, to join the Estate Facilities team.
The role is part of the Central Delivery Service. To receive deliveries for the site departments and users, to record and deliver across the site in a timely manner (within 4 hours or sooner). To collect and collate items from the departments for collection by third party carriers. Keep up to date electronic records of all goods in and out of the site ensuring all items collected or delivered are signed for on the online management system. Carry out with the fire, water and emergency light testing within the designated area of responsibility. The role holder ensures the areas within the stores and the external areas are kept clean and tidy.
The hours of operation are 7am to 5pm on alternating shifts 07:00 to 15:30 and 08:30 to 17:00 with 1 hour for lunch.
