Formed in 2003, City Gate Construction (CGC) specialise in construction, refurbishment, fabrication, mechanical and electrical services, new build housing, bespoke joinery, maintenance and regeneration.
With its Head Office in Linwood, CGC employs more than 225 people, with six UK offices, most recently opening premises in Birmingham. Providing a bespoke service across a range of industries, CGC continues to secure major contracts from housing associations, exclusive private developers, and local authorities.
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Storeperson to join our team in Ayr. As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse and stock management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials
- Picking and filling orders from stock for live projects
- Working closely with our tradespeople on all projects
- Managing and organizing inventory and stock levels
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
- Communicating with other departments to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Storeperson or similar role
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control
