Job description

We are looking for a General Manager to lead the amazing space and wonderful team at Samsung KX.

Samsung KX was launched, in collaboration with Stellar Global, in 2019. Based in Kings Cross, London, Samsung KX is their impressive flagship European brand experience space and Stellar is responsible for managing and developing its exceptional people. Designed to give guests the ultimate immersive brand experience, Samsung KX is a place where people are invited to discover, interact with and learn new skills in a dynamic environment through a range of workshops, events and performances together with local community partners.
As General Manager you are responsible for the daily management of Samsung KX ensuring that all functions of the space operations and experience are delivered to the highest standard at all times. You will manage and support the team and participate in team recruitment requirements according to the Stellar process. In cooperation with the Retail Ops Director you will drive Career Development process within the team, ensuring the team has the required skills to achieve the goals of the business and have regular 121s with your own direct reports, who manage their individual teams.
You will achieve set KPIs by Samsung and Stellar, actively work with Samsung HQ in all new product launches and carry the responsibility for all activity within the space. You will be the driving force behind all daily operations in Samsung KX and will strive to achieve and exceed the goals set by Stellar and Samsung.

  • Experience in managing large teams.
  • Relevant retail management experience in a customer orientated industry.
  • Have a clear history of meeting and exceeding KPIs/targets.
  • Knows how to use business and competitor knowledge to inform decision making.
  • Preferred 4 years experience in managing teams of at least 30 employees Headcount and a management team of 6 owning different departments .
