Role responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and customer-orientated individual to help deliver an excellent service to our customers. We are currently recruiting for Station Environmental Operative (SEO) to join us at our Cardiff and Valleys Stations. A variety of shifts are available across 5 days a week, to include early mornings and evenings.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Keeping our stations clean and tidy in accordance with presentation standards
- Performing minor maintenance tasks at stations
- Helping our customers with any queries and providing excellent customer service
- Adhering to health & safety responsibilities and regulations
- Working effectively as part of a team and independently

Essential requirements to be considered for this role:
- Excellent organisational skills
- Customer focussed
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Ability to provide excellent information to customers and colleagues
- Ability to perform manual tasks
- Possession of full driving licence
As a train operating company, we are there for our customers whenever they need to travel – this means that you will be happy to work a variety of shifts, including bank holidays and weekends.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would be advantageous to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
