Creative Play Lab is overseeing early innovation and product technology development. It is an organization of about 270 employees distributed across Billund, London, Singapore and Los Angeles.


Core Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic partnering primarily to the SVP and Leadership team

  • Give strategic advice and set directions for the respective people agenda

  • Facilitate organizational change processes and enable the organization for the delivery of the future strategy (capability assessment and building processes), support leadership team in org development, talent management; co-create and drive the engagement agenda

  • Act as trusted coach and sparring partner for people leaders to drive performance and team effectiveness

  • Advise and co-develop the leadership team as an effective team together with the SVP area

  • Lead strong and impactful deployment of core HR processes in collaboration with global Communities of

  • Accountable for recruitment prioritization and organizational / workforce governance in the assigned business units (org design principles i.e. spans and layers, Headcount management)

  • Leverage CoE’s as business needs arise that can be supported through our Operational teams (e.g. global reward, global mobility, shared service center)

Partnering & Operations is part of our People, Operation & Development business area (PO&D) and include Business Partnering as well as local Operations, Employee Relations, benefits, policies and execution. The partnering organization is responsible for developing and deploying the people & culture agenda in line with strategic direction of the LEGO Group. The operations organization serves as a backbone to enable the partners and the business in providing relevant solutions on people processes respecting geographical and site nuances This role is integrated in our Partnering & Operation, Northern Europe team, supporting functions located in our headquarter. You will be a part of an amazing team of 20 People Partners supporting functions across the value chain and you will be part of the Product & Marketing development (PMD) Partner community.


Do
you have what it takes?


The ideal candidate brings a relevant educational background combined with 7-10 years experience in a global, matrixed and creative digital enabled company leading the E2E people agenda. You bring solid experience in partnering with senior level leaders – SVP level in a creative/innovative organization, evidenced through excellent written and verbal communication. In addition, we expect that you have experience in:

  • Demonstrating strategic understanding and experience with organizational development, transformation of HR processes/change management and Diversity & Inclusion

  • Agile ways of working and the ability to bridge the Traditional and ‘New world’

  • Working with data to inform proposals and influence decisions, in particular with compensation data, trustee, statutory reports

  • Medium/large scale transformation

  • Capability assessment and building
