Sports and Behaviour Mentor
LTF Recruitment are looking to find a passionate Sports and Behaviour Mentor in the Nottingham area to support children with challenging behaviour, helping them regulate their emotions through the use of sport. You will be joining a supportive team at a fantastic secondary school, focusing on giving every child equal opportunity. Previous successful candidates in this role have come from professional sporting backgrounds, utilising the skills and discipline which has been instilled in them to help mentor students that display challenging behaviour.
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Have previous experience working in a professional sporting environment.
- Be confident dealing with challenging behaviour.
- Have a passion for improving behaviour through sport.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children with challenging behaviour.
- Help students regulate their emotions through the use of sport.
- Plan and deliver 1 to 1 and small group interventions.
- Promote good behaviour from students.
- Implement long term plans and strategies to improve behaviour.
