- provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
- analyze business requirements for all areas of UBS globally.
- design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
- providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
- conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
- see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production
Your team
You’ll be working in the Archive and Records Management Crew, as part of the Technology division as a remote worker. We provide an agile working environment with training and exposure to a wide range of the latest cloud-based technology and development tools This benefits all our customers. As a Software Engineer, you’ll play an important role in ensuring UBS remains compliant to all legal and regulatory requirements.
Your expertise
- a computer science or computer engineering-related education background
- proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C# or C++)
- a proactive personality and a genuine interest in developing a career in the field of IT and application development
- some prior banking experience or knowledge, but this is not required
- analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
- plan, organize and communicate well
- make things happen
- stick with a task
- work in a team
- come up with ideas
